Young Professionals
About
Beverly Cultural Center is committed to helping young professional women thrive in work and life. Since young professionals are called to make life-transforming decisions, personal mentorship, faith formation, and authentic friendships are essential to building a purpose-driving life. What makes Beverly Cultural Center unique is the richness of programs that help each one to live to her full potential—spiritual, intellectual, and personal. On-going mentorship and spiritual direction help each one to apply these principles in her own life.
Most people have a plane-like vision, stuck to the earth, of two dimensions. When you live a supernatural life, God will give you the third dimension: height, and with it, perspective, weight and volume.”
Saint Josemaría Escrivá, The Way, no. 279

Bringing Christ Through Virtues: Being the Best Version of Yourself!
Forgiveness
Wednesday, March 12
7:30 PM - 9 PM
Beverly Cultural Center
We have prayed those words of the Our Father often—Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us—and so we can easily gloss over them until we find ourselves angry, hurt or resentful about a person, or situation and unable to forgive. We can’t seem to find it in ourselves to move on from a painful event despite our best efforts, or we see that our actions have hurt a loved one, yet we are reluctant to ask forgiveness. What does our faith teach us? How have others—saints and ordinary people alike—dealt with having to forgive or to ask pardon? What does St. Josemaria mean when he says, I have not needed to learn to forgive because Jesus Christ has taught me how to love.” Join us for a talk and discussion in which we will see how and why learning to forgive and be forgiven is central to our happiness.
