Helping women grow professionally and spiritually
Recollections
Recollection. Seek God within you and listen to him.”
Saint Josemaría Escrivá, The Way, no. 319
Recollections are mini-retreats (2 hours long) held on a quarterly or monthly basis. They give us the opportunity to step away from the bustle of our usual routine to spend quality time in conversation with God. It includes Eucharistic adoration and Benediction with the Blessed Sacrament, guided reflections on the Gospel, a talk given by another professional woman on living virtue at work and at home, an examination of conscience to explore how our attitudes can better mirror Christ’s, and an opportunity for spiritual direction and the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Spiritual Retreats
‘Just one minute of intense prayer is enough.’ Someone who never prayed used to say that. —Would someone in love think it enough to contemplate intensely the person they love for just a minute?”
Saint Josemaría Escrivá, Furrow, no. 465
An annual silent retreat may seem like a challenge when seen from the perspective of our busy schedules, but who wouldn’t jump at the chance of a weekend away with her best friend in the world? Meditations guided by a priest of Opus Dei and talks presented by the staff punctuate the silent atmosphere that invites us into an ongoing intimate conversation with God. Daily Mass and the opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation flood our souls with grace, giving us a clearer perspective on the meaning of our lives. Spiritual direction provides personalized guidance to take the next step in responding to God’s love in our daily lives.

Mentorship
Don’t let your life be barren. Be useful. Make yourself felt. Shine forth with the torch of your faith and your love.”
Saint Josemaría Escrivá, The Way, no. 1
While faith formation offers so much richness to our lives, personal mentorship makes sure the rubber meets the road on the way to holiness. The women on Beverly’s staff offer one-on-one guidance for professionals who want to bring their best selves to the workplace and their homes.

Social Events
In a Christian, in a child of God, friendship and charity are one and the same thing. They are a divine light which spreads warmth.”
Saint Josemaría Escrivá, The Forge, no. 565
Here at Beverly we also love a lot of fun with friends! From happy hours and soirées to weekend excursions and workshops, there’s always someone to meet, something to learn, or some adventure to be had.
